Sunday mornings are the cornerstone of our ministry. We invite you to visit and see what we are about.
You'll discover that we are a church family of all ages and backgrounds that enjoys spending time together. You'll also discover that we are regular folks with the same needs, hopes and struggles as everyone else and with the same need of God's grace, love, forgiveness.
Our worship service begins at 9:30am and runs to about 11:00. Through our time of worship together we seek to build people up in their relationship with the one, true God as we contemplate his truth, grace, and glory through song, prayers, the reading and preaching of God's word, giving, and the sacraments.
The style of our service can be best described as informally reverent--where we seek to be down-to-earth yet appropriately reverent. This is reflected in both how people dress and the songs we sing. People come dressed in everything from shorts and jeans to dresses and jackets and ties. In terms of music, we sing a combination of the great hymns of our faith and the best of contemporary worship songs. In doing so, we seek to communicate that our faith is accessible and relevant to our contemporary culture while also being timeless and rooted in history.
During the sermon, we offer an alternative time of worship and learning for children ages 4 - 3rd grade (at the parents' discretion), called My Father's House.
During the school year, the worship service is followed by Sunday School for all ages, taught by trained volunteers.
Nursery care is available throughout the events of Sunday morning.
