Mission

For God’s glory and by His grace, Harvest Fellowship exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ who are progressively growing in their love of God, their love of people, and their commitment to help others grow as disciples.

Loving God

"... 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment." Matthew 22:37-38

Jesus commands us to love Him completely with all our being.

Our mission includes teaching and encouraging each other to love God in meaningful ways. In worship, we turn our hearts, souls, and minds toward God, adoring His divine attributes and acknowledging our need for Him.

Loving People

"And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Matthew 22:39

Jesus commands us to love others in the same way that we love ourselves, seeking their well being and helping to meet their needs. Our mission includes teaching and encouraging each other to demonstrate the love of Christ in daily life.

Our active mercy ministry shows love to those in need both within and outside the church through practical acts of service and assistance.

Making Disciples

At the end of His earthly ministry Jesus gave His followers an ongoing purpose that we know of as The Great Commission:

" ... All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.  Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."  Matthew 28:18-20

Our small groups give people the opportunity to deeped relationships with one another, growing together in community.

We encourage each other to reach out to those around us, sharing our faith through our words and through the way we live our lives, helping one another grow in the faith. As we build relationships, we see the power of the Good News of Jesus Christ transform our congregation, our homes, our community, our county, and all the nations of the world.
